The Company was formed in April 2006. We are based in Inverness with contracts across Scotland. We adhere to the Skills Development Scotland Management System Standards and have had ongoing contracts with them since our inception. We are currently delivering Modern Apprenticeships in several subject areas across the Highlands, Moray and Grampian Region. We also have private contracts to deliver bespoke training packages for the public and private sectors.
Stan Payne MBE, FCMI is the Managing Director of Oaks Training & Development Ltd. He gained his MBE in 1997 for services to Training with US Forces. He is fully qualified to deliver all the qualifications that Oaks Training provides and has over 30 years experience in Learning & Development, Leadership and Management, with the latter 14 years in senior management. Stan has developed the company from inception by building on the company’s portfolio of qualifications. He recognises the importance of ongoing staff development as key to business success and is continually working towards his own professional development in order to benefit his clients.
Sayrah Payne is the company secretary. She joined the company in 2013 and manages all aspects of the business applicable to her role.
Additional Support We also enjoy the support of other highly qualified individuals and companies for example working in partnership with Ritchie’s Training Centre in Glasgow for consultancy work and Health & Safety Training. We are able to refer business within our network of clients and training providers and as a member of the Chamber of Commerce have numerous links to other business networks and expertise.
