Established in April 2006, Oaks Training & Development Ltd are based in Inverness-shire with contracts across Scotland, delivering bespoke training packages for both public and private sectors.
Managing Director :
Stan Payne MBE FCMI, gained his MBE in 1997 for services to Training with US Forces. Qualified to deliver all our courses with over 30 years experience in Learning & Development, Leadership and Senior Management Stan established and developed the company from inception. Recognising the importance of ongoing staff development as the key to business success. He continues to provide his training expertise via assessing, verifying and bespoke consultancy services to our clients. Out with the day job his truest passions will find him on a horse or competing with his adored and (of course) highly trained dogs.
Personal Development Manager:
Heather Worsdale earned her Business & Administration degree in 2000 and started her career in hospitality. Moving on to many years progression with a major utilities company. After taking a leap into self-employment she qualified as an SQA assessor and verifier before relocating, with her family, to the Highlands. Since joining the Oaks team Heather has supported countless candidates through their Modern Apprenticeship courses. She specialises in supporting managers and entrepreneurs to meet the ongoing demands of business life, through their continuous personal development. Heather’s management skills are put to the test daily by her own three children and she bakes a pretty good chocolate cake.
