Level 3 Learning and Development
You will need to complete 6 Units to achieve the qualification. Candidates must complete all the mandatory units and a minimum of one unit from Group A (they can complete both units). The remaining units must be completed from Group B. Please note that candidates may not take both L&D9D and L&D9DI.
Mandatory Units: Candidates must complete the following three Units

Engage and support learners in the learning and development process

Reflect on, develop and maintain own skills and practice in learning and development
Group A - Optional Units: Candidates must complete between 1 and 2 Units

Manage learning and development in groups

Facilitate individual learning and development
Groub B - Optional Units: Candidates must complete between 1 and 2 Units

Identify individuals' learning and development needs
L&D5
Develop and prepare resources to support learning
L&D9D
Assess workplace competence using direct methods
OR
L&D9DI
Assess workplace competence using direct and indirect methods

Evaluate and improve learning and development sessions

Level 4
Learning and Development
You will need to complete 8 Units to achieve the qualification. Candidates must complete all the mandatory units and a minimum of one unit from Group A. The remaining units must be taken from Groups B and C. No more than two units can be taken from Group C
Mandatory Units: Candidates must complete the following three Units

Group C - Optional Units: Candidates must complete between 0 and 2 Units
