About - Oaks Training & Development

Stan Payne MBE is the Managing Director of Oaks Training & Development Ltd. He is highly qualified and has over 30 years experience in Learning & Development, Leadership and Management, with the latter 13 years in senior management.

During his career Stan has been awarded a Certificate of Commendation, the Meritorious Service Medal (USA) and an MBE.

He has worked in several countries and whilst performing in the role of Training Officer for a Military Company in the United States he developed and implimented a Training Management System which produced over 3,500 leaders and soldiers annually, at the same time vastly reducing costs. 

He has also completed his Teaching Qualification in Further Education (advanced) and is Assessor and Internal Verifier qualified.

Stan readily gets involved at all levels and he works tirelessly to ensure the highest possible standards are achieved in order that organisations and individuals get what they pay for.

He has a great sense of humour and is just as comfortable with his sleeves rolled up working on the shop floor as he is working within the senior management environment.

Ian Payne, Director, Oaks Training & Development LtdOaks Training & Development has a strong team.  Stan’s son Ian is a director and he currently runs the training centre in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. 

Our team believe in working in partnership with clients. We are keen to provide guidance and advice in order to achieve the best training available.

This also includes providing information in order to access and inform as to the most appropriate funding options available.
